If you’re a fan of CCTREE filament then you will be delightfully surprised with their range of Silky PLA, which brings the best features of standard PLA Filament while adding some distinct characteristics to make it silky smooth. Designed to use almost identical settings as CCTREE’s range of PLA filaments, this silky filament is a great  Exotic Filament that is easy to print with while offering a smooth and almost slippery texture, just like silk!

Despite the similar printing specifications to the PLA that you’re accustomed to, this silky filament is slightly trickier to print with and may require a heated bed temperature of between 40 – 80C, depending on your 3D printer setup. This helps the polymer stick to the bed more effectively despite the low-friction nature of the melted plastic, resulting in great first-layer adhesion and improved overall quality.
